"Cabin Fever" is one of those adult videos that would appear to have everything going for it. The boys are hot, the locations are inviting, the camera work is excellent and the cum shots are plentiful. In fact, there are two cum shots per guy in every scene. That's 30 cum shots alone in this DVD ... and at least half of them are hands-free cum shots!
There are a few things that "Cabin Fever" doesn't have however, one of them being a story line. It is 5 scenes of non-stop action with one-on-one action, three-ways and the final scene as a four-way. Most people are ok with that. In reality, most people I know fast-forward through the dialogue anyway to get right to the sex, so the story line isn't always what it's cracked up to be. Unfortunately, there isn't ANY dialogue in this video at all! Not one word is spoken between any of the boys throughout the entire DVD, and with thates a bit of a disconnect. You never know if something is feeling good, or if a different position is desired ... there is nothing said at all; and as a viewer and as a reviewer I need to know if the boys are enjoying themselves; and a good way to know that is through words that are spoken. You might think that you can hear that in the soundsing from the actors; if that were only true in this DVD. There were A LOT of dubbed in moans and groans (and you knew it was dubbed because there was moaning and groaning going on and either mouths were full or lips were locked). Perally I hate dubbed videos and it makes the action seem extremely fake, probably because the sound is fake.
So without dialogue and added moans and groans you might assume that would be it and things wouldn't be "that bad". Sadly enough that wasn't all there was. There was a music soundtrack that had to be one of the most monotonous soundtracks I have heard in a long time. When you have a beat that is boring and constant, the action in the production all of the sudden bes monotonous and boring as well. I finally turned the sound on my television off for the final scene and I actually enjoyed that scene the most.
Part of the enjoyment of the final scene however, was the appearance of Gary McAdams. What a stunning man with a sexual appetite unlike any of the other boys in the DVD! When he was on the screen his look and the chemistry he had with the other three boys in the scene was outstanding. He was the best of the cast. I can only hope he'll be in future productions! Unfortunately Mr. McAdams wasn't able to make up for the rest of this lack-luster production.
One gets cabin fever from being cooped up inside a cabin for too long. After watching this DVD for 2 ? hours, maybe this DVD was appropriately named.
