At the end of their 2 years, missionaries tend to get 'trunky.' Trunky is a term that means they've already packed their bags (trunks) and in their mind they are already back home. As it happens, even APs get trunky and it can be a drag for their companions.
Poor Elder Hardt. He's been getting a little down thinking about loosing Miltmore. For his part, Miltmore has gotten more serious lately with questions he has about home. He's had long conversations with the brethren about honoring his calling when he gets home. And he's spending a lot of time thinking about home as a result.
