Transformation is what i do best, says october 2020 playmate, carolina ballesteros, on the set for her shoot by the photographer, brian ziff. totally in her element, carolina created a tone so specifically hers. as a playmate, i have been given so much creative freedom-i felt like a princess on set, she recounts. my photoshoot was inspired by my origins in spain and my love for the goth aesthetic. i wore lots of lingerie which i love. shoots like this are just what carolina loves most about her job as a model and makeup artist. im always crafting my own crazy looks. for me, every day is halloween, she says. we shot from around 11 a.m. to 130 a.m., my whole body ached by the end of it, but it was so worth it. get to know our october playmate, carolina ballesteros, better, right here on playboy plus.

Im playboys first quarterly playmate i cant believe it, says our winter 2021 playmate, izabela guedes. originally from brazil, now based in los angles, izabela has always loved the brand, and we are thrilled to be collaborating with her. since the age of 13, i dreamed about becoming a model. playboy is such a big deal in brazil, so ive been a fan for a while, she begins. its crazy to think that back in the 1950s, women were posing naked for the magazine-you had to be fearless to do it then. even today, you still have to be. for her own shoot, izabela put her personal touch on everything you see. for my playmate pictorial, i tried to channel aaliyah. i wanted to pay homage to the 1990s, my favorite decade, she says. i did my own makeup and had creative input on the visual aesthetic. i think its so cool that the brand listens to the models and makes them feel seen and heard. flip through this izabelas winter 2021 pictorial, right here, on playboy plus.
